Personality: Adriel has changed quite a bit since his time on Earth began. At first, he was completely devoted to heaven, due to being reprogrammed many times. He was insisting on his sister - whom he had been forced to forget was his sister - to join him in heaven as an angel to be converted. Since then, he has relearned his history and of his family and has completely changed his ways.

Very devoted to his family, he is very close to his sister, Aislinn. He would do anything to protect her and her family, including her children, whom he sees as his own at times. Also very loyal to Gabriel, his is still on search for his true mother, Amitiel, whom he thought was in the heavenly prison, but was disappointed to find was not when there was no trace of her when the angels had fallen.

Slightly hostile with most demons, he can be very rash in decision making, but will usually do what he can to save others before himself. He believes himself to be of very low self worth and would rather see the others make it out alive. He is quick to anger when his loved ones are threatened, but is generally a very calm an collected being, despite his irrational decision making skills.

Awkward when it comes to having feelings for another, he has made it clear that he does not ever want to fall in love again. He had once fallen in love with a human and was heartbroken when he had come to the realization that he could never be with her. She had wanted for him to give up his grace to be human and grow old with her - something he is very afraid of. During his time of being human briefly, he was scared and felt incredibly useless. When he had gotten his grace back, he had realized just how much he needed it, and had ultimately made the decision to leave her, erasing her memory of him.

History: Adriel had never been to Earth before. He spent most of his time watching from above. He was born of Gabriel and Amitiel, and because something of that nature had never been seen before, it was taken very seriously in heaven. Because he was an angel, born of two angels in vessels, he had been born into a new vessel that was specifically compatible to him. When he was not in it, it possessed no soul. In most cases such as that, the human vessel would wander with no source of humanity, but his just lay vacant, almost lifeless.

This was long before Gabriel had fallen. Some say that his birth may have been one of the reasons, other than that of Michael and Lucifer's falling out. The angels were so enamored by the procreated angel that they immediately took him in as an "experiment" of sorts. At that point in time, Gabriel had fled from heaven, and Amitiel had been forced into silence from ever revealing that he had angels for parents.

He was incredibly skillful by the time he had aged into his adulthood for angelic life. He was quite loyal to God, as well, though he had never met him personally. He was bright, a quick learner, and before he knew it, he was being promoted to a Seraphim due to his abilities and obedience. He had still never even visited his vessel on earth, which was being kept safe by followers of God.

When the coming of the Nephilim had been announced unto heaven, Adriel was given the task of retrieving her. Little did he know it was his own sister. Getting suited into his new vessel, he was told it belonged to a man named Jacob Mason, a devote Christian who had given himself up to the heavens. He immediately went on his task to retrieve the Nephilim, but was abruptly stopped when he was forced out by the Winchester brothers, and a descendant of King Solomon, Reagan Asher.

When he reported back to the angels, they had decided to send another angel whom the Winchester's trusted - Castiel. Unfortunately their plans didn't exactly go correctly when the angel had started to fall in love with the nephilim. They had to wait out for her to finally make a decision.

When Asmodeus was released, things got incredibly difficult. Reagan had been induced into a coma, and the guilt started to flood in. Seeing Aislinn in such a state of misery had really gotten to him - although he didn't know why. That is when Gabriel had revealed to him that he was his son and that Aislinn was his sister. Unable to cope with the information, he then fled back to heaven for some time, looking for answers.

In the end, he chose to fight for the nephilim. He went to her side, offering his sword to help fend off the demons, but it was too late - she had gone with Asmodeus. Even worse, Castiel had helped Crowley open Purgatory and was now going insane with the power. He chose to fight by his side to end Raphael's wrath though, and for that, Castiel had granted him mercy to staying alive.

When Castiel had returned to normal, he had immediately dropped everything to help get Aislinn back. Retrieving her from hell, she had decided to make her decision to go to heaven for the convergence. He and Castiel guided her there and stayed by her side to watch her become a divine being. They then had fought a war with the demons and sealed away Asmodeus for good - or at least, for a very long time.

During this time of peace, he had spent more time on earth. He spent a lot of time with the Asher family due to Aislinn being with them often. He had met Reagan's older sister, Charlotte, who he was oddly enamored by. Eventually, the two of them became very close and he found himself falling for her. So much so, she had requested for him to give up his grace, and he replied with a "maybe". One of Adriel's fears in life is dying, so becoming human is not something he is too keen on following up on.

When the angels had fallen from heaven and Metatron had taken control, Adriel went nuts. He couldn't control his senses at all - they were all so insignificant all of the sudden, and he hated it. Being hungry, tired, and weak all the time exhausted him. Charlotte did the best she could to support him, but every day he spent as a human, the more he hated it.

When his grace had finally returned and Metatron was imprisioned, Lucifer and Michael had been released from the cage. There was a short moment of peace once more. It had become clear to him that being human was not in his best interests, so he had decided to say goodbye to Charlotte, erasing her memory. Although extremely heartbroken by this, he was quickly distracted when he had learned of Michael and Lucifer joining forces.

When he had learned of their plans to destroy humanity, he immediately knew he had to take a side. He joined Gabriel, Aislinn, and Castiel, immediately stating that humans were who he supported. He defended the safe havens as they were built, and kept away Croats when the virus was then released. He believes Charlotte to be dead, or that's what he's been told.. She had been taken down by a demon while they were building Sanctus, but there is a rumor that she is still alive, and had been pregnant with his child. To this day, he has spent his time defending Sanctus. He has helped Aislinn and Castiel raise their children, and has spent all of his life making sure that humanity would be safe. In his mind, one of the largest reasons he began fighting was to keep Charlotte safe. When he had failed to do that, he knew that it was then to keep his niece and nephews safe.
