Mission Type: Travelling for Benders - Destroy a Croat's Base
Mission Location: About ten miles out from Sanctus
Participants: Krissy Chambers, Mary Winchester, Kimberly Waters, and Dean Winchester (comes in 1/2 way)
Date of Starting: 9/18/2014

It was surprisingly quiet here where the sun filtered over the tops of crumbled buildings and cars were more likely to have plants growing out of them then they were to be clean and fresh. It was essentially a forest with some buildings now, after all this time. Trees grew out over the buildings, surrounding the world in a dark covering of reds and yellows, protecting the people underneath it in what may have been a resemblance of peace had there not been such a drastic and violent world surrounding their existence. Krissy preferred it here, actually, then physically in Sanctus. Even if she had to keep herself on edge, even if the slightest sound made her freeze and take account yet again of every little detail around her. The bag slung over her back was currently, much as it always was, filled with things she would need if she needed to stay out here for an extended period of time. Her gun and her machete were packed away where she could reach them if necessary but what she kept in her hand at all times was the small orb that was strapped to the leather band that was wrapped around her wrist. The orb rested in the palm at all times, making it easier for her to just lift her hand and draw the mark to get away if she needed it.

But Kris was good at what she did. She was good at knowing what was around her, knowing where to go and how to move, and good at being able to find what she was after without leaving a trace of her presence behind. It was her job, after all. To get in, get out, and get things done. Right now, that was specifically to gather the plants she needed from around the city. It was amazing how many things could be used to make a decent medicine or spell that just kind of thrived when the virus came around. It's like the world was balancing itself just a little, making things that were normally rare as hell, plentiful and growing. Course, that didn't mean she had an easy job getting to the things, just that when she got there, she could gather up a good supply of it.

Currently her job had been to raid an old business building that grew on the far end of Wichita Ruins about ten miles from the wall. It was normally a bit of a ways to go out, considering it took almost a full day from leaving at dark, going at jogs and sprints, but she didn't mind. Yah she did have to phase out occasionally if she spotted movement but only for a matter of a minute or so, just enough to dodge down another street and up a block or so before erasing the marking with a simple swipe of her hand. Little jumps like that were nothing, just enough for her to get out of sight around a big building. It was when she sat crouched, listening to a conversation for an hour that she felt close to drifting away. That was about the limit, she found. An hour in that world, body and all, was enough that she felt she could probably be dying. She never pushed it longer then an hour... and she wasn't sure how far she could go without just disappearing, but from all the research she had done back before the virus, there was no way she was going to push that limit. She liked being alive.

The herbs she needed grew from some large sticky vines that had wrapped it's way around the corporate building. If used correctly, they could be used to create small lights like candles that burn for several times as long. Witch light, apparently was much more useful then any candle and with the electricity being not so good, it was useful. As for the combat advantageous of it, it could be used to brew up a pretty awesome flash bomb. Kris was happily content now that her bag was stuffed with both the leaves and a few jars of the sap, enough to last her at least another month or two of constant production. Running a hand through her cropped short hair, she nodded to herself, turning her back to the building and preparing to head back to the wall. Course, that didn't mean she didn't over hear the shuffling to her right as she exited the building, coming loudly from a street over. Hazel eyes narrowed sharply and she shuffled forward, moving to crouch behind one of the moss covered cars. This place... you couldn't go an hour without seeing or hearing some kind of messed up shit.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

This seemed to be a normal routine for Mary. Perhaps it was because she was so sheltered for her entire life, but she absolutely loved the atmosphere of Wichita. Her parents were both so keen on teaching her how to hunt and kill things, but never actually let her do it, and it was rather annoying in her opinion. She was so tired of hearing about how she had to be kept safe, or in her father's words, "there were too many things that go bump in the night that wanted her".

Mary knew the entire city of Sanctus from head to toe, and although she didn't really go through the slums all too often, she definitely knew her way around them. Surprisingly, the easiest way to get out of the city was right under their noses though. The military base had lots of underground tunnels due to keeping their weapons and research safe. Especially in the Science area. They had to have an easy way to get rid of Croats in case any experiments went wrong.

It's super easy to go up to them, distract them, and while they're away, just slip through one of the tunnels. The hard part, was getting off through the radar though, which is why she kept her Jammer handy. Something she learned how to make at an early age, that Radar Jammer was her best friend. It temporarily caused the radar to fuzz out while she slipped out of the city.

The smell of fresh grass and the sound of silence was always a bit of a relief to Mary. She barely remembered a normal world. Her earliest memory was when she was about three years old though, before her father was back in her life. Her mother had taken her to the zoo. She remembered her dad being a demon... but she tried not to think about that. She also remembered their wedding. And the birth of her sister.

A lot of things were blocked out as a child. Maybe it was because of the demons, maybe it was because she hated seeing her mother cry. But she tried to forget them.

Walking along the cracked streets that had been uprooted from overgrown trees, she looked around, pulling out her binoculars. She looked over some of the buildings to see if there was anything interesting to do today. Pulling out her map, which she had scribbled all over (crossing out places she had visited), she hummed softly to herself. Perhaps she'd just walk around for once and enjoy the nice day.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Kimberly Waters Thu Sep 18, 2014 11:06 am

Kimberly walked slowly around the outskirts of Wichita. Her blue eyes never stopped moving, looking around constantly to make sure that she was relatively safe. The ruins reminded her of the Slums a little, but it was green with plant life here. She had spent her first couple of months in Santus living in the Slums, before she decided it would be in her best interest to become a hunter. Her red hair was down and fell around her shoulder. Her left hand ran hastily through her hair.

She leaned against a tree and was a little tired from the journey over here. The ruins were about 10 miles outside of Santuc, and with the threat of Croats, demons, angels, hellhounds, and more lurking behind every tree and in every shadow, getting over here was no stroll. She leaned her head against the bark, wondering where she got separated from the rest of her team. She didn't mind too much though. It was quieter now, without the others.

Looking around for one minute more, she decided to enter the city. Her team's mission was to scout around the city and try to determine how many Croats were inhabiting it. She walked down what used to be a road, looking around. She'd been here before, of course, most hunters had. But she could never get used to it. What was left of the city was overgrown with plants. She briefly wished she had a camera before realizing that because these types of ruins were the norm outside of the Safe Havens, no one would have any interest in seeing these.

Her right hand never left the hilt of the machete on her hip, fully prepared to pull it out and use it if need be. Something stirred in the brush next to the road, and she froze. She sighed, realized that it was just the wind.

This shit is making me paranoid. She thought as she pulled the map of the city ruins out of her bag. She scanned the map, wondering where she should go scout out Croats. Deciding to stick to the perimeter of the city as much as possible today, she turned and began walking, leaving the dilapidated road behind as she disappeared between the buildings that were left more or less standing.

In a place where angels and demons existed, it was no surprise that you had to watch your back at every turn. There were always so many things walking through these ruins, ready to just come out and bite your head off or infect you with whatever disease that they happened to carry. But at the same time, if you were careful, it wasn't hard to remain hidden in the shadows, back pressed against a vehicle to keep out of sight. Krissy watched in silence, breath slowly and controlled as she peered down an alleyway to where she could just see through to the next street over. As far as she could tell from sight alone, there was nothing over there, but her ears weren't lying to her. There was definitely the sound of feet dragging on the ground, multiple people moving rather slowly, and the occasionally low groan. It was surprising how much you could hear when a city like this was so empty of humanity. What might have been a bustling place where you could barely hear your phone ring was now still except for birds, crickets, wind, and those noises.

Her free hand slowly pulled out the machete in her backpack, easing it from the leather holder she kept it in. The orb was still strapped carefully to her left palm, ready whenever she needed it on the off chase she needed to swap realms. Of course, out of everyone, the recon spy was the least likely to get seen, especially if the creatures were Croats or Walkers. They had little to no brains in their heads anymore to be able to spot her as long as she was quite.

She moved with a light tread, sliding across the asphalt so that she could press herself against the building wall opposite the car she had been hiding against. The sun was angled to keep her in the shadows, hiding her face and most of her presence at all from any onlookers. It was at this point that she poked her head out from around the street corner to see exactly what was going on. Eyes widened a bit and then narrowed to slits, a furrow forming between her brow. It was Croats, it seemed... but why were they going in there? It's not as if the crumbled subway would give them any more food then they would have up in the open. Her lips pursed a little and the grip on her machete tightened fractionally. Was there really a base this close to the wall? She could have sworn that patrols would have picked up on the fact that at least ten Croats could be seen hanging out at the entrance of the subway... and likely a few more underneath. It wasn't a large base... but it shouldn't have been missed either.

Keeping everything in mind that she remembered from training, she never let anything slip past her that may be suspicious. She had shoved her binoculars back into her bag as she immediately pulled out her EMF tracker, making sure that nothing was going to sneak up on her. Thank god Croatoan was a demonic virus, otherwise she wouldn't really know if one was sneaking up on her.

As she continued walking for a little while with no sign of anything hostile, she thought it was a bit strange that today was strangely peaceful. She was sure that soldiers were taking advantage of the nice weather to scrounge up resources. Most infected and demons took advantage of that to make an attack.

Continuing on, she then stopped herself abruptly as she immediately took refuge behind a fallen billboard as she peeked through the corner where the subway was in view. Croats. A lot of them. And they were all heading down the stairs. Huh... looks like I found where they like to sleep. She smirked as the last one had headed down the stairs. Waiting a few moments she immediately headed in the middle the street, keeping her steps light and quiet as she went to go in after them.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Krissy Chambers Fri Sep 19, 2014 6:48 pm

As close as she was, she could see each and every Croat seem to make their way down the subway stairs, moving with a sluggish pace as if they had no where better to be... which they didn't, obviously. Her back to the wall, partially shaded and nearly unseen in her dark attire, she had no chance of being spotted. However, that wasn't the case for the idiot who seemed to now be running head long down the middle of the street. Krissy felt like smacking herself in the head with her palm, as cliche as that was, when the running form of someone seemed so intent on going in straight after the Croats that had just disappeared.

Who the hell would be that stupid?

"Hey, are you suicidal or something?" She hissed out, loud enough for the girl to hear as she passed the shadowed area where Krissy leaning against the building wall. Her eyes darted left and right, making damn well sure that there was no Croats or Walkers around before she stepped out from the cover to be a bit more visible to the girl. Sad thing is, she recognized her immediately.

"What the ever loving hell, Mary," She groaned, running a hand through her hair as she glanced over at Dean Winchester's daughter with a sigh. Krissy was around enough to know exactly who and what she was. She had even been told more then once to follow after her just to make sure she didn't get hurt. Dean protective of his family, that's for sure, but even more so, a prophet... the prophet needed to be protected at all costs. And being out ten miles from the wall alone and about to run into a subway with no intel on what was going on in there other then the fact that it was full of Croats was as stupid as stupid came.

So stupid, in fact, that if it had been someone else she might have just let them take the consequences of their idiocy. If they made it out alive, they would be better for learning the lesson. If they didn't... well, they shouldn't have come out here at all. Mary, though... Dean would kill her if Kris let his daughter go down there. It's not like they had ever actually talked all that much. Seen each other in passing since Krissy had been in Sanctus and maybe given each other the occasional smile but never actually talked. Normally their relationship was one sided. Mary not knowing she was there and Kris just following after her. Not that she blamed the girl for wanting to be out there. A person who wasn't useful wasn't worth keeping around and feeling useless was likely the worst thing in the world. But she had to learn who she was too or else humanity was going to suffer from her death.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Kimberly Waters Fri Sep 19, 2014 8:46 pm

Making her way through the narrow alley behind what used to be a bank, Kimberly glanced down at her map again, deciding to poke around the entrance to the subway that was a little down the road. She keep walking, her eyes flitting back and forth and her ears alert. You never really got used to the silence of the city. What used to to bursting with life was now a barren wasteland crawling with the undead.

As much as she wanted to, Kimberly knew from experience that she couldn't let her mind wander much. A couple of months ago, when she was still considered a "new" hunter, she'd been distracted and been attacked by a few Croats. Luckily there were other hunters nearby, but she still felt humiliated. She'd made a fool out of herself on the battle field.

Kimberly shook her head slightly to clear it, not wanting to lose focus. So far she hadn't seen any Croats, and demon activity was low. That was odd, considering that All Hallow's Eve was fast approaching and hellspawn from miles out would close in on the city, knowing full well that there'd be plenty of young and inexperienced hunters milling about. Personally Kimberly thought that they should switch the initiation dates every year, so that the creatures out there wouldn't KNOW that that was when the fresh meat would be available. They weren't going to though, apparently people liked tradition, even if it wasn't necessarily in their best interest.

She approached the road, her hand never leaving the hilt of her machete. She walked lightly, making as little noise as possible. Something moved in the corner of her eye. She crept over to an abandoned car on the side of the road. She drew her machete out of it's leather sheath, knowing that her rifle wouldn't do her much good if there were Croats nearby.

She peered out over the car window, looking out through the broken class. Kimberly saw two beings that appeared to be human. One was walking towards the subway entrance, the other seeming a little more mindful of her visibility but making her way over to the first person nonetheless. They didn't appear to be infected, but she wasn't sure that they weren't some other form of hellspawn. She tightened her grip on her machete. Kimberly was a little too far away to see their faces, so she decided to wait for a minute longer and just watch them to see what they were up too.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Mary Winchester Sat Sep 20, 2014 2:11 am

As Mary had began to creep down the stairs, she immediately froze in place as she heard a voice call out to her. Turning her head slowly, she heard the woman say her name. Eyes widened and face red, she immediately stopped what she was doing, looked back down into the darkened entrance of the subway, and back to where she then saw a head peeking out from the bushes.

"Oh shit..." she groaned quietly as she ran a hand over her face, shaking her head, looking over at her. Krissy Chambers. Although she didn't know her, she knew of her, which was enough. She heard stories, and she had seen her around whenever she'd visit the barracks. "Please don't tell my dad..."

Although her dad was pretty used to getting complaints about her sneaking out, she didn't feel like having another lecture again. She knew those jail cells more than anyone from how my times she had been detained. Looking around again, she slowly approached the girl, a look of discomfort across her face.

"Look, I know what you're thinking, but I know what I'm doing. How the hell am I supposed to prove I can fight if I'm never allowed out here?" she frowned, throwing her hands up in the air lightly. "If I don't get any action once in a while, one day I'll really be in danger and won't be able to handle myself," she sighed.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Krissy Chambers Sat Sep 20, 2014 9:37 am

Course Mary would be scared of Dean. Everyone was scared of Dean. Who wouldn't be considering the man was such a legend, the one who stopped the apocalypse years ago and defended the earth time and time again against the big badies that were now back for revenge. Dean Winchester, the Righteous man, vessel of Michael himself, right? Leader of the biggest refuge and father extraordinaire. The very Dean Winchester who would literally kill anyone and everyone who stood in his way just so he could help his family. Yah, Dean was one big bag of terrifying if he wanted to be, Kris didn't blame Mary for being afraid of him, or... more likely, being afraid of what he would do to her when he found out... and somehow, Dean always found out these kinds of things.

"Don't tell your dad? Sure, good, just let me walk you right back where you came from and I won't breath a word." Krissy said sarcastically, knowing full well that the girl wouldn't pick that option. There was a big group of Croat's just down in that subway and whoever managed to kill them all would both prove their worth as a hunter and get a sizable reward when they brought back proof. "I don't even know what you are doing out here, but I will be skinned alive if your dad finds out you were out here and I didn't do anything about it. " Her eyes narrowed a little as she stared at Mary. There wasn't much Kris could actually do to get the girl back to the camp herself... unless maybe drawing the witches rune on her and pulling her body back through that realm. It was ten miles though, way to far to pull a squirming resilient body. Plus, Krissy wasn't all that large.

"Look, I get that you want to prove you can fight. You want your dad's approval and all that. It's nothing new to me. But what you were just about to do was something any trained hunter would call suicide. If you want to prove yourself, do it logically." Krissy said, exasperation clouding her voice. She was really more upset about the way that Mary was about to do it rather then anything else. There were plenty of ways into the subway, not just the large giant entrance that screamed "come down me and die - oh and we have cookies!".

Kris rubbed at her head with a deep sigh "Are you just after killing one or two of those things and getting out or do you want to try to kill every last one of them that might inevitably be down there anyway?"

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Kimberly Waters Sat Sep 20, 2014 2:31 pm

Kimberly could only catch bits and pieces of their words from her position across the street, but it was enough for her to decide that they were hunters. She recognized the one as Dean Winchester's daughter though she couldn't remember her name. The other one was another hunter that Kimberly had never really talked to, but she was fairly sure that the other woman's name with Krissy, or something similar.

Kim stood up slowly, still holding her machete. She glanced around a few times to double check that they were alone, before pausing as she heard a low moan. It appeared to be coming from the subway, down the stairs from where the Winchester girl was."What the hell is she doing?" Kimberly wondered to herself before starting to walk over to them slowly. She wasn't going to get too close though, for the Croats could detect uninfected humans and would come after them if they got too close.

"You two fail the stealth class or something?" Kimberly called out loud enough for the other women to hear her, but hopefully not loud enough for anything else too. She leaned against the car, watching them with an eyebrow raised. She looked around again, before her eyes settled on the entrance to the subway. "You realize that that's full of Croats, right? And underground?"

((OOC: Kimberly isn't a very high ranking Hunter yet, so she wouldn't know that Mary is the prophet, by the way. :-) ))

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Mary Winchester Sun Sep 21, 2014 2:45 am

Oh boy, another lecture. As Krissy started to go on about how foolish she was being, Mary simply rolled her eyes and huffed out an irritated breath. Running her hand over her forehead again, she rubbed it thoughtfully and waited for the girl to finish what she was saying. "Yeah, yeah, I get it, well just pretend like you didn't know then because whether you stop me or not, it's not going to keep me from coming out here."

As soon as she was about to explain what exactly she planned to do down there, she then heard another voice chime in, to which she turned to see an unfamiliar face. A woman with red hair and bright blue eyes, she raised an eyebrow. When she had made the announcement that the subway was filled with Croats, Mary immediately gave a sarcastically surprised look.

"No, really? Croats? In there? I had no idea!" she gave a very sarcastic tone as her gaze then hardened. "Listen, I know what the hell I'm doing, and I don't need people to tell me what they think is crazy. Obviously you have no idea what I'm capable of. If my father can blast an entire base, so can I. I am a Winchester, after all." she smirked, turning to face the stairs.

"I'm going to go down there, and I'm going to create a barricade that will block them in and blow it up. It's not to kill them, it's to keep them out. They'll die from lack of food. And eventually they'll become walkers and be too stupid to even know where to find us." she explained as she started to step down. "You're welcome to watch."

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Kimberly Waters Sun Sep 21, 2014 11:35 am

Kimberly raised an eyebrow again, watching the woman begin to walk down the stairs. She looked around the road, double checking that there wasn't anything nearby, before walking across the street over to the entrance to the subway.

"What are you going to block them in with?" Kimberly asked curiously. "And won't they be able to get out using the other entrances before you can hike all the way across the city to barricade them?"

She leaned against the entrance, below a dilapidated sign. Low groans and shuffling sounds were coming from beneath them. It was too dark to see much past the bottom of the stairs, but from the sound of it, there were no less than 20 Croats milling around down there.

"Look, I'm not doubting your ability as a hunter or your bloodline," Kimberly said, watching the Winchester girl. "But this really isn't a one person job. It's great that you found an undiscovered base, but don't you think it would be better if we got a squad down here? Uh, if you're after the pride and or recognition of destroying a Croat base or some shit, that's a surefire way to get yourself killed, you know." she said, sounding bored.

Kimberly tilted her head to one side slightly, wondering why anyone would think going down there alone would be a good idea. It hadn't been scouted yet, so no one had any idea about big of a base it was. The subway system goes on for miles, both in and out of the city. Luckily most of the subway stations near the Safe Havens had been destroyed a long time ago, but if Croats were hanging out in the subways, humanity didn't know to hunt them there. This was still an important find, even if the hunter who discovered it killed herself.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Post by Krissy Chambers Mon Sep 22, 2014 3:37 am

Krissy glanced up immediately at the voice, hand posed over her own skin in surprise and machete out. Of course, the person who her eyes caught hold of wasn't expected but she also was human too, which was good to know. Angelic, demonic, Krissy couldn't tell. She had never met this hunter before, if the girl really was a hunter, so there was always the urge to be cautious.

"Failed it? Hardly, I teach it. When you can disappear and reappear out of thin air, then maybe we can talk about stealth." Krissy huffed out with a somewhat arrogant smirk, though she didn't put her weapons down for several few seconds. "It's not as if I planned to go down there. Not my idea, sweetie." She rolled her eyes, finally low her weapon at least slightly, glancing between the subway and the two younger girls. Not that much younger really... a handful of years but she doubted they had seen what she had seen. If they had been surrounded by thirty Croats before with only seconds to get out, there would be no question about going down there or not.

"Going down there at all is suicide. You have to find another way in if you want to go down there. Even putting up a barricade would take so long you would be dead before you finished." Krissy sighed deeply, leaning against the crumbled building wall as she tipped her head back, eyes closed in silent thought. "And if you do leave them in there and they get out... walkers are just as bad as Croats. You can't leave either of them alive for the sake of general safety. If you are to do anything, you need to take them out. All of them out."

She scratched absentmindedly at the side of her head, short dark hair parted around her fingers. "This is beside the point though. You," She gestured with a vague hand in Mary's direction, "I can't even condone getting near there. Not because I don't think you are capable enough, though let's be honest, no one is capable enough for that, but because if you go in there, I am as good as dead. I've seen you handle yourself against a couple Croats but there's a unknown number in there and no one is stupid enough to do that. Use your head a little, alright? I don't want to have your father kill me. And you," She motioned to the other girl with the same lazy gesture. "I don't have a lick of an idea who you are which just proves you don't have what it takes to go in there alone either. Though at least you don't seem to want to, which is good."

She groaned loudly, biting at her bottom lip as she tapped the tip of her machete against the ground, the small clinking noise just barely audible. If Mary was dead set on this, and let's be honest, she probably was, then Krissy was going to have to go after her. At the very least, they could use the witches orb to get in and out safely. It would be a one shot thing though. The moment they were in there and erased the marking, Krissy wasn't going to have time to draw it again before they had more people on them. It was either go in with it on, slaughter all in the surrounding area, and then mark them up again to get out, or not go in at all and leave it for a larger group. Five, six people more like it. Not three... not two and a prophet who is Dean Winchester's fucking daughter, dear god no.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

"Tch." Kimberly said, bored with the older girl's arrogance. "At least I don't use witchy shit to do my job." She muttered. She was wary of magic and magically items, anything supernatural wasn't trustworthy or safe as long as Kimberly was concerned. She stepped back, her hands deep in her jacket pockets as she looks up and around the entrance. "You know....." She said thoughtfully to the Winchester girl. "You wouldn't necessarily have to build a barricade. If you had enough explosives...." Her blue eyes scanned the entrance. "You could burn the bitches inside while you destroy the entrances with explosives. Of course, someone would have to start the fires inside. But it'd still probably be safer than going in and trying to kill them all individually. I mean, this does need taken care of."

She looked around before pulling her map of the city out of her bag. "There are 3 other entrances to the subway system around the city. If we called in a few more hunters, we could easily take care of them all." Kimberly put the map away before taking her machete. She could appreciate the Winchester's determination to destroy the base. The redhead wanted to get rid of these Croats as much as anybody, although she wasn't exactly in a hurry to just run into an enclosed area with an unknown number of Croats. Kimberly felt that it was way better to have a well-thought out plan before an attack. If they lined the entrances with explosives after lighting fires inside, the bombs would crumble the cement, building them a barricade. She supposed it was a good enough plan as any, if the others agreed.

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Mary was getting so overly irritated, she thought she was about to lose her temper and just hit someone. Rolling her eyes in annoyance at the two bickering women, she threw her hands up, snapping in retort, "Will you two shut up for one goddamn second!?" she let out a long groan and then rubbed her forehead.

"I didn't even go into fucking detail about what the hell I'm doing and you two are already overreacting. I wasn't going to literally go in. I've been doing this for several months now, I've been planning very carefully." she hissed, stepping over to the stairs once more. "There are plenty of other stations that are closer to Sanctus. All of which, I have provided with a barricade. And not just any damn boring barricade. They are full of explosives."

Pacing back between the two, she pulled out a small device from her thigh holster. "See this? Yeah this thing has been detecting where the heaviest amount of demonic activity is going on, specifically for Croats. When I find another entrance to the subway, I block it off. If they even try moving it... boom." she smirked.

Of course, she didn't actually have plans of doing anything involving this subway today, she just happened upon it by coincidence. She didn't bring anything with her, but she had enough equipment with her to at least mark it so she knew where to come back... or leave a ripple effect. "If I create a smaller barricade out here, I have enough time to connect this end to one of the other ends where I have another barricade. Then, when the croats try to get out from this end, they'll either have to find another way out, or they'll blow up this entrance... and several others in close range. The subway will collapse onto them, incapacitating them, if not killing them all. The remainder of them will be trapped, die, become walkers, and be stuck in there or find another exit that is barricaded and blow that one up."

Mission - Private Empty Re: Mission - Private

Kimberly nodded, turned off by the hunter's anger and defensiveness. She raised an eyebrow. "You got something to prove to yourself?" She smirked, shaking her head slightly. "Fine. No need to get all defensive sweetie." She turned around, beginning to walk away. "It will be interesting to see how you're going to BUILD a barricade that's large enough to block the entire entrance with whatever in on your person, which, judging by your size and the size of your bag, would be insufficient to handle an entrance of that size but," Kimberly shrugged. "if you have it under control then who am I to interfere?" She smiled overly sweetly over her shoulder at Mary.

Both women's arrogance was irritating to Kimberly, and she was perfectly happy to leave them to deal with this. If they took off a bigger bite than they could chew (or the Croats did literally), Kimberly knew where the base was and could come back in a few days with a team that could handle this properly. The Winchester's defensiveness was uncalled for in her opinion, but wasn't surprising. Kimberly had seen it in most of the hunters she trained with. It seemed they all had this burning desire to prove themselves over and over again until they died or got promoted to some title with a higher death rate. Not that Kimberly didn't care about what the other hunters and her superiors thought of her, but she wasn't going to get herself killed because she wanted to impress someone whose name she barely even knew.

"By the way, I'm going to need both of your names. If you don't come back I'll need to report to my captain about who I saw fucking around with a Croat base in the ruins." Kimberly had stopped walking and had turned back towards the two women. She was a little irritated as she mentally replayed the last couple of minutes and was annoyed at the cocky arrogance both hunters had displayed. If they were going to kill themselves proving their worth to nobody, fine. But Kimberly wasn't about to be penalized for not properly reporting her trip outside.
