Once upon a time, Wonderland was a peaceful place, a sanctuary. That all changed when the Hearts started a war in an attempt to overthrow the White Queen and take her place. The war was long, bloody, and left everyone changed. The Hearts, of course, won. They now run a casino for the entertainment of rich Wonderlanders, though they've been doing a booming trade bottling human emotions. Collecting humans and herding them into Wonderland, these "oysters" are put into the casinos to gamble, drink, party, and enjoy themselves in any and every way they desire. These very potent human emotions are drained from them, bottled, and sold all over Wonderland so its citizens can enjoy a quick rush. But hiding in the depths of Wonderland's lost library, rebels are slowly coming together in hopes of overthrowing the Hearts, setting the captured oysters free, and returning Wonderland to its former glory.
